Abstract

Fomentar el desarrollo de su zona, siempre de manera sostenible, es una de las principales funciones de un geoparque. La oportunidad de progreso social, ambiental y económico que representa el Geoparque de Villuercas-Ibores-Jara debe servir para impulsar el territorio donde se asienta y su área de influencia. La colaboración de todas las organizaciones y personas del entorno permitirán dar a conocer lo que ofrece el Geoparque de Villuercas-Ibores-Jara a la sociedad, favoreciendo, al mismo tiempo, el geoturismo como actividad turística emergente.
