In this present document will be considered the VANET vehicular networks, which is part of the ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems). These combine the information with the technology of communication to the vehicles, this system at the same time being involved in another major as is "the connected world". The basic functionality of VANET networks focuses on the safety of the roads, because this is the first cause of mortality, not disease, of the world. In this project in addition to see the functionality of this network, as well as their characteristics, applications, and legislations, focuses on emergency communications, which are the highest priority within this network. In the emergency communications are two distinctions, the first is the emissions related to accidents or collisions, while the second is related to emergency vehicles. Within the part concerning the emergency vehicle, this project focuses on medical vehicles because they possess the best conditions for an initial deployment (they have a final goal, the Caceres hospital in this case) and also possesses greater effectiveness in the transfer of patients (rapid action during the first hour significantly reduces the risk). This last factor will be what incentive the implementation of the infrastructure will be applied to the main access to the hospital in the city of Cáceres explained in the present document.
