Abstract

El poema-altar de P. Optaciano Porfirio es una muestra importante del quehacer poético-figurativo del autor. Se inscribe dentro de una tradición de poemas figurados, pero a la vez supone una progresión en la técnica configuradora de los mismos, al mantener el costoso artificio de la no alteración del metro a lo largo del poema. A su vez, P. Optaciano Porfirio es el exponente más característico del tardío neoterismo de la época constantiniana.
