“Clareo y Florisea" o la historia de una mentira

Abstract

La novela “Clareo y Florisea” del novelista Alonso Núñez de Reinoso es considerada la primera novela bizantina española. Apareció en 1552 y ha sido considerada una imitación de la obra “Leucipa y Clitofonte” por la similitud de situaciones y semejanza de historias. Esto hace necesario el planteamiento de la originalidad de la obra desde unos estudios estéticos y críticos más rigurosos.

The Novel "Clareo y Florisea" from Alonso Núñez de Reinoso is considered the first Spanish Byzantine novel. It appeared in 1552 and has been considered an imitation of the "Leucippe and Clitophon" work because the similarity of the situations and likeness of stories. This makes necessary to make an approach to the originality of the work since some aesthetic and critical more rigorous studies.
