| Abstract: | Esta tesis doctoral es un estudio que trata sobre la historia y las prácticas musicales en las instituciones eclesiásticas del norte de Extremadura entre los años 1750 y 1839, dando a conocer cómo los acontecimientos históricos del momento influyeron en las
catedrales de Plasencia y Coria, repercutiendo negativamente en la música llevándola del esplendor al declive. This dissertation is a study that deals with the history and music practices in church institutions in northern Extremadura between 1750 and 1839, revealing how historical events influenced the moment Cathedrals of Plasencia and Coria, negatively impacting in music taking it from splendor to decline. |
