¿Morfema cero?

Abstract

Los logros alcanzados a lo largo de este siglo han erigido la Lingüística en ciencia, una de las ciencias más desarrolladas. Sin embargo, en ocasiones los análisis lingüísticos llegan a mezclar los conceptos o el método con el objeto de estudio, con la lengua misma. Cuando así ocurre, esa lengua que se pretende describir queda falseada. Este puede ser el caso del llamado «morfema cero», que Ch. Bally fijó como signo sin soporte material en los sonidos, pero con un valor en la frase.

The achievements throughout this century have erected linguistics in science, one of the most developed sciences. However, on occasions the linguistic analysis arrive to mix the concepts or the method with the object of study, with the language itself. When this happens, that language which is intended to describe is distorted. This may be the case of the so-called "morfema zero", which Ch. Bally set as a sign without material support in the sounds, but with a value in the phrase.
