| Abstract: | Se presenta un estudio sobre José de Saravia, nacido en Villanueva del Fresno (Badajoz) en el último tercio del siglo XVII y fallecido en Rusia en 1871. En España, fue militar en la Guerra de la Independencia; y en Rusia se formó en la Academia Militar de San Petersburgo. Alcanzó el grado de general en los ejércitos del zar. A study is presented on José de Saravia, born in Villanueva del Fresno (Badajoz) in the last third of the seventeenth century and died in Russia in 1871. In Spain, he was a soldier in the War of Independence; And in Russia he graduated from the Military Academy of St. Petersburg. He reached the rank of general in the Tsar's armies. |
