Construcción de una casa historicista junto al Palacio de Abrantes (Cáceres)

Abstract

Este artículo comprende diversas intervenciones acometidas en el palacio de Abrantes, en Cáceres, durante los primeros años del siglo XX, así como la construcción de la casa de nueva planta levantada al lado por los mismos dueños, los Condes de la Quinta de la Enjarada, según proyecto de Francisco Calvo, siguiendo la corriente ecléctica e historicista. Se aporta información documental de carácter económico sobre el proceso constructivo, dando a conocer el contrato y presupuesto de la obra, así como los recibos y justificantes de pago.

This article includes several interventions attempted in the palace of Abrantes, in Cáceres, during the first years of XXth century, as well as the construction beside it of a completely new house ordered to build by the same owners, the Counts of the Quinta de la Enjarada, according to the project of the architect Francisco Calvo, following the eclectic and historicistic tendency. Documentary information of economic character on the constructive process is contributed, bringing to light the contract and budget of the work, as well as the receipts and vouchers of payment.
