Abstract

Los primeros años de una revista de carácter profesional, técnica y científica no son precisamente fáciles debido a la desconfianza que suscita en los posibles autores y lectores, que un proyecto de tal envergadura pueda llegar a buen puerto, sobre todo si aparentemente parece estar gestionado desde "fuera del ámbito universitario". Aún así todavía seguimos en la red, www, con la ilusión inicial y el espíritu renovado para adaptarnos a los nuevos tiempos que se avecinan para las revistas publicadas en formato digital y en la web. Como aclaración a las comillas hay que señalar que e-balonmano surge en el seno de la Federación Extremeña de Balonmano pero desde sus inicios el equipo editorial de la revista apostó por la calidad y el rigor académico y científico, rodeándose en los comités científico y editorial de miembros de la comunidad universitaria. Vaya desde aquí nuestro agradecimiento a todos y en especial a los profesores e investigadores de la Universidad de Extremadura que desde el principio han colaborado con esta revista.

Estas aclaraciones vienen al caso de los cambios que la editorial de la revista ha adoptado con el objetivo de mantener una línea editorial regular en la edición de sus números, con un aumento en la calidad y cantidad de artículos, y digo bien en este orden. Para lograr estos ambiciosos objetivos e-balonmano ha adoptado medidas encaminadas a mejorar la calidad en la gestión de la revista, a mejorar su visibilidad y a aumentar el número de artículos publicados en cada sumario.
