Los hermanos con discapacidad. Influencia en la realidad

Abstract

El presente trabajo ha demostrado que el enfoque de la discapacidad de un niño ha empezado ahora a tener sentido y significado, sobre todo si es toda la familia la que es tenida en consideración, con especial referencia a los hermanos. Así en particular, se seleccionó una muestra de 50 hermanos, de entre 10 y 14 años, en este caso 25 hermanos que pertenecen a las asociaciones y/o grupos de apoyo y 25 hermanos identificados a través de las escuelas locales, no incluidos en los grupos de apoyo. Las provincias estudiadas fueron Palermo y Trapani. El objetivo principal era localizar a los sujetos de la muestra que puedan presentar los factores de riesgo y factores de protección. Además, se examinó si existen diferencias entre los dos grupos, y si estas diferencias y cualquier especificidad eran dependientes, relacionados o no, con la pertenencia a una asociación y/o un grupo de apoyo y a la ayuda o no los abuelos.

This abstract is a detailed and through piece of work covering all aspects of disabled child approach which has finally acquired a meaning and a significance only if other members of his/her family will be taken into consideration with a particular reference to the Siblings. A sample of fifty Siblings has been carefully selected for children from 10 to 14 years of age and more specifically 25 Siblings belonging to some associations and /or to support groups and 25 Siblings have been identified through the local schools not included into the support groups. Palermo and Trapani have been involved into this wide selection. The main objective of this research is to give and find out more information on the symbolic real life (lifestyle) indicating by consequence the risks and the protective factors at the same time. In addition, it was examined if there are some differences between the two groups and if there is a connection or relationship between these differences and some other specific experiences of real life that could be related each other to some associations and /or groups of support and to the care or not for the elderly parents.
