El futuro y perspectiva del desarollo rural en España o el desarollo rural en España

Abstract

Se inicia este artículo con una referencia a la complejidad de lo rural, en cuya definición es necesario considerar, entre otros, factores de tipo económico, territorial, demográfico, político, social o cultural. Seguidamente, se señalan cuestiones relacionadas con el papel creciente de las mujeres y los jóvenes en el desarrollo rural, se plantea el problema del envejecimiento demográfico y se destaca la necesidad de lograr la diversificación económica de los espacios rurales como condición imprescindible para lograr la fijación de la población rural.

This article begins with a reference to the complexity of what it means to be rural, and in its definition, it is necessary to take into account economic factors, as well as territorial, demographic, political, social or cultural ones, among others. Next, problems related to the growing role of women and young people in the rural development are also indicated, the problem of demographic aging is pointed out, and the need to achieve the economic diversification of the rural spaces is emphasized as a necessary condition to achieve the settlement of the rural population.
