Los canónigos de la catedral de Mallorca durante el siglo XVII

Abstract

Este artículo persigue el estudio del Cabildo catedralicio de Mallorca durante la primera mitad del siglo XVII. Una época de grandes cambios, que significó el inicio de un poder e influencia cada vez mayores. En estas líneas, se analiza la jerarquía del Cabildo, las formas de acceder a las prebendas y la extracción social de sus miembros.

This article pursues the study of the Cathedral Chapter of Majorca during the Seventeenth century. A time of great changes, which marked the beginning of ever greater power and influence. In these lines, it analyzes the hierarchy of the Chapter, the forms of access to the prebends and the social extraction of its members.
