Análisis de la idea de deporte educativo

Abstract

En este trabajo se pretende describir cómo el deporte puede contribuir al desarrollo completo de sus practicantes, así como presentar la distinción entre dos conceptos que usualmente son utilizados indistintamente, a pesar de que poseen connotaciones distintas: deporte escolar y deporte en edad escolar, sirviendo esta distinción como introducción hacia la relación entre deporte y educación, estudiando las características que debe poseer la práctica deportiva y que la distinguen del resto de actividades físicas. Por tanto, el objetivo es clarificar los conceptos que rodean a la iniciación en la práctica deportiva. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión profunda de la bibliografía más relevante en esta temática a nivel nacional e internacional. Análogamente, una vez realizado este análisis de la práctica deportiva en edad escolar, se presenta la postura de los expertos en iniciación deportiva acerca de cómo ha de ser la toma de contacto del niño con el deporte que desea practicar, pudiéndose concluir la necesidad de verdaderos expertos en el ámbito de la iniciación deportiva que garanticen la correcta orientación de este proceso de formación.

This work aims to describe how sport can contribute to the full development of its practitioners, as well as introducing the distinction between two concepts that are often used interchangeably, although they have different connotations: school sport and sport in school age, serving this distinction as an introduction to the relationship between sport and education, studying the characteristics the sport should have and that distinguish it from other physical activities. Thus, the objetive is to clarify the concepts around the sport practice initiation. In order to that, a deep revision of the most important national and international bibliography about this topic has been done. Similarly, once made this analysis of school age sports practice, it’s showed the position of the experts on initiation sports about how the first contact between the child and the sport he wants to practice must be, being possible to conclude that real experts in sport initiation able to guarantee a right orientation of this formation period are needed.
