Abstract: | Desde las instituciones patrimoniales de Mérida, la difusión social ha sido uno de los principales objetivos, llevándose a cabo desde 1986, actividades culturales con la intención de incrementar la conexión social de estos espacios con la población y su proyección al resto de usuarios. En este artículo se muestra cómo Mérida se ha convertido en un importante centro de aplicación de la Museología Social, donde la población autóctona participa de su patrimonio y lo difunde como algo propio. Mérida’s cultural institutions have always been interested on excavate, preserve and disseminate their historic-artistic heritage. Since 1986, several cultural activities have been proposed to link native people to their heritage with an inclusive and social aim. In this article, proposals and consequences of social museology application in Mérida will be shown from these projects about the relationships between cultural heritage and population and how they take part of them as a feeling and disseminate as own. |
