Integrated neuromusculoskeletal release. Conceptions and practices

Abstract

La liberación neuromusculoesquelética integrada (INR) es una técnica de tratamiento manipulador osteopático (OMT) que ha sido patentada por Robert C. Ward. El INR con abordaje anterior/posterior segmentario es una técnica de tratamiento manipulador osteopático fácil de aprender y aplicar (Danto, 2003). Este abordaje se centra tanto en la conectividad anterior como posterior del cuerpo a través del sistema neuromusculoesquelético y utiliza esta conectividad para tratar eficazmente disfunciones somáticas. La totalidad del OMT se ha preocupado, a propósito o no, con la manipulación de la fascia. Objetivos: Se discuten los principios de la INR, así como el papel de la INR en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de las disfunciones somáticas.

Integrated neuromusculoskeletal release (INR) is an osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) technique that has been formalized by Robert C. Ward. INR using a segmental anterior/posterior approach is an osteopathic manipulative treatment technique that is easily learned and applied (Danto, 2003).This approach focuses on both the anterior and posterior connectivity of the body through the neuromusculoskeletal system and uses this connectivity to effectively treat somatic dysfunctions. The whole of OMT has been concerned, purposefully or not, with manipulation of the fascia. Objectives: The principles of INR are discussed, as well as the role of INR in the diagnosis and treatment of somatic dysfunctions.
