Enseñanza por tareas interactivas, competencia intercultural y entornos virtuales: el proyecto NIFLAR (Networked Interaction in Foreign Language Acquisition and Research)

Descripción de los objetivos y resultados del proyecto internacional NIFLAR (Networked Interaction in Foreign Language Acquisition and Research; www.niflar.eu), financiado por la Unión Europea y con una duración de dos años (2009-2010). Coordinado por la Universidad de Utrecht y contando con la participación de universidades de distintos países, NIFLAR pretende desarrollar un proceso de enseñanzaaprendizaje del español, neerlandés, portugués y ruso utilizando dos herramientas tecnológicas innovadoras que permiten una interacción directa y sincrónica entre los participantes: la videocomunicación (video web communication, VWC) y los mundos virtuales (Second Life, 3D VW). Dirigido a la investigación, diseño y experimentación de estrategias pedagógicas con nuevas tecnologías en la didáctica de lenguas extranjeras, el proyecto está orientado tanto hacia el aprendizaje interactivo como hacia el desarrollo de la competencia intercultural.

Description of the objectives and results of the international project NIFLAR (Networked Interaction in Foreign Language Acquisition and Research; www.niflar.eu), financed by the European Union and with a duration of two years (2009-2010). Coordinated by the University of Utrecht and counting on the participation of universities from different countries, NIFLAR intends to develop a teaching-learning process of Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and Russian using two innovative technological tools that allow a direct and synchronous interaction between the participants: videocommunication (video web communication, VWC) and virtual worlds (Second Life, 3D VW). Directed towards the investigation, design and experimentation of pedagogical strategies with new technologies in the didactics of foreign languages, the project is oriented as much towards the interactive learning as towards the development of the intercultural competence.
