El presente estudio se refiere a un grupo de textos y tradiciones centrados en la figura del Rey Arturo y las aventuras de los Caballeros de la Mesa Redonda, que recibe la denominación de “Materia de Bretaña”. Privilegiando los textos y las lecturas de la Historia Literaria en Portugal, el estudio termina poniendo énfasis en el aspecto estético del libro “La demanda del Santo Grial”, invitando a observar de cerca el arte de contar historias que se perpetúa en textos venideros...

The present study refers to a group of texts and traditions centered on the figure of King Arthur and the adventures of The Knights of The Round Table, which is nominated by Arthurian Literature. Privileging the texts and readings of Literary History in Portugal, the study ends with an emphasis on the aesthetic side of the book “The Quest for the Holy Grail”, inviting a closer look at an art of storytelling that eternizes itself in future texts…

O presente estudo incide num conjunto de textos e tradições centrados na figura do rei Artur e nas aventuras dos Cavaleiros da Távola Redonda a que se atribui a designação de “Matéria de Bretanha”. Privilegia o(s) texto(s) e a(s) leitura(s) da História Literária em Portugal.
