This paper is focused on the study of the assent in "The dream of Gerontius", by John Henry Newman. For this purpose, we work with Max Weber and Léon Bloy’s thought, as well as Newman’s theoretical writings. The Rule of Saint Benedict, in the same way, will help us due to its influence in Newman’s thought. |
