Arqueología y agricultura romana en la Península Ibérica

Abstract

Se asiste dentro de los programas de investigación arqueológica y en la programación de excavaciones arqueológicas a un auge de la especial dedicación de arqueólogos hacia las villas romanas en la Península Ibérica. Basta para ello observar el número de excavaciones realizadas en distintas provincias en los últimos cinco años, y pasar revista a los trabajos de carácter general sobre este tipo de asentamiento y que se refieren a toda la Península o a zonas restringidas de ella junto con otros que están en vías de realización.

We are witnessing into the archaeological research programs and in the programming of archaeological excavations a boom of the special dedication of archaeologists towards the Roman villas in the Iberian Peninsula. It is enough to observe the number of excavations carried out in different provinces in the last five years, and review the general works on this type of settlement and that refer to the whole Peninsula or restricted areas of it with others that are in progress.
