La mujer como instrumento de perpetuación patrimonial

Abstract

En este trabajo se trata de mostrar como en la Extremadura Contemporánea la mujer desempeñó un papel clave en la conformación de los grupos oligárquicos que controlaban hasta tiempos recientes importantes fragmentos de la riqueza rústica regional. Diversas circunstancias, puramente aleatorias, convirtieron a la mujer en protagonista esencial en la definición del peso de la gran oligarquía, al trasmitirse por línea femenina notables cuerpos de bienes.

In this paper we try to show how in the Contemporary Extremadura the woman played a key role in shaping the oligarchical groups that until recently controlled important fragments of the regional rustic wealth. Various circumstances, purely random, made women an essential protagonist in the definition of the weight of the great oligarchy, by transmitting notable female bodies of possessions through the female line.
