Atmospheric adversities have been an ungrateful memory throughout the centuries due to the catastrophic effects linked to them. Thus, frosts, heat waves, droughts, torrential rains, hail and hurricane winds were, are and will be a nightmare for humanity in general. Rural people also suffer some of its associated indirect effects, such as the erosion and desertification of lands, the overflowing of rivers or forest fires. |
