La “Conclusión” de la tesis de habilitación de Heidegger. Traducción y comentario

Abstract

En mi artículo he llevado a cabo una traducción y comentario de la “Conclusión” de la tesis de habilitación de Heidegger (La doctrina de las categorías y del significado en Duns Escoto) redactada para su publicación en 1916. También he incluido una traducción de la breve “Nota del autor” escrita para la reseña de la publicación. Mi interés por el texto de la “Conclusión” se deriva de las consecuencias que el propio autor extrae de su trabajo, de la lectura y la hermenéutica que realiza en torno a su propia obra: la necesidad de una relectura de la filosofia medieval a la luz de una revisión de la estructura de las categorías y del significado, y la exigencia que supone volver a los fundamentos metafísicos de la filosofía desde conceptos como el de espíritu vivo.

In my article I have translated and commented the “Conclusion” of Heidegger “Habilitation” dissertation (“Duns Scotus’ Theory of Categories and Signification”) written for the published edition (1916). I have enclosed also the short “Author’s Note”, written by Heidegger for the review of the publication. My interest in the text of the “Conclusion” is derived from the consequences that the author draws from his work, and the reading and hermeneutics around his own text: the need for a reinterpretation of Medieval Philosophy on the light of a review of the structure of categories; and the meaning derived from a demand to get back to a metaphysical foundation of philosophy in the context of concepts such as the “living spirit”.
