| Abstract: | El objetivo principal de esta tesis es el análisis comparativo de varios fragmentos elegidos del drama-histórico de Shakespeare Henry, IV Part I, marcados por ambigüedades y juegos verbales, y los segmentos correspondientes a seis traducciones españolas de Francisco Nacente, Guillermo Macpherson, Rafael Martínez Lafuente, Luis Astrana Marín, José María Valverde y Ángel Luis Pujante Álvarez-Castellanos.
Estos segmentos presentan las principales dificultades textuales con la que tiene que enfrentarse los traductores de la obra. The main objective of this thesis is the comparative analysis of several fragments selected from Shakespeare's historical drama Henry IV Part I, marked by ambiguity and verbal games, and segments of six Spanish translations Francisco Nacente, William Macpherson, Rafael Martinez Lafuente, Luis Astrana Marín, José María Valverde and Angel Luis Pujante Álvarez-Castellanos. These segments have main textual difficulties that translators have to overcome when rendering this play in Spanish |
