| Abstract: | En este trabajo se describen los niveles de competencias argumentativas identificados en una muestra del alumnado universitario y su relación con las creencias epistemológicas. Para identificar las competencias argumentativas del alumnado se construyó un instrumento de respuestas abiertas en torno al tema del desempleo. Para medir las creencias epistemológicas se aplicó un instrumento constituido por 63 ítems (Schommer, 1990). Se realizó el análisis de los dos instrumentos y se obtuvo la fiabilidad y la validez. In this paper are described the argumentative skills levels in a sample of university students and its relation to epistemological beliefs are described. To identify the argumentative skills of students an instrument of open questions on the issue of unemployment was built. To measure epistemological beliefs an instrument consisting of 63 items (Schommer, 1990) was applied. Analyzing the two instruments was performed and the reliability and validity was obtained. |
