This paper reviews the current panorama of the situation of children at risk of social exclusion, disadvantaged and other existing problems in their families. This is essentially displaying the different possibilities offered to this collective, displaying the improvements that have been doing along the last two decades and how it raises the future and possibilities for them. To make possible this review, we will go around the possibilities in intervention with sector professionals, specific intervention programs existing, how to assess situations of vulnerability and finally see the latest trends in residential care and in family foster care.es_ES
