Sistema de pensiones y mercado de trabajo español: situación y retos actuales

Abstract

La economía española se ha visto envuelta en una profunda crisis económica y financiera desde el año 2007 hasta la actualidad. Dicha crisis ha afectado a todos los Sistemas Públicos pero en especial al sistema público de pensiones de la Seguridad Social. Además del factor económico, el factor demográfico y más especialmente la esperanza de vida, ha provocado la inestabilidad del sistema de pensiones español provocando que en la actualidad haya más personas en edad de jubilación que hace varias décadas. Sumado a estos dos factores, el mercado de trabajo es otro pilar fundamental del sostenimiento de nuestro sistema de pensiones, que se ha visto afectado, al igual que el Sistema de la Seguridad Social, por la crisis económica. En este trabajo se describe en primer lugar el concepto, nacimiento e historia de la Seguridad Social Española para seguir más adelante con la explicación de las diferentes reformas por las que ha atravesado el sistema de pensiones español. Seguido, se realiza un análisis empírico para ver la evolución del gasto en pensiones en función del PIB y el trabajo concluye con la situación actual del Mercado de Trabajo Español para explicar cómo afecta el empleo, y sobre todo, el desempleo en el sistema de pensiones de la Seguridad Social.

The Spanish economy has turned out to be wrapped in a deep economic and financial crisis from the year 2007 up to at present. The above mentioned crisis has affected to all the public systems but especially to the public system of pensions of the Social Security. In addition to the economic factor, the demographic factor and more especially the life expectancy, it has provoked the instability of the Spanish system of pensions provoking that at present there are more persons in retirement age that several decades ago. Added these two factors, the labor market is another fundamental prop of the support of our system of pensions, which has turned out to be affected, as the System of the Social Security, for the economic crisis. In this work there is described first of all the concept, birth and history of the Spanish social security to continue further on with the explanation of the different reforms for which it has crossed the Spanish system of pensions. Continued, an empirical analysis is realized to see the evolution of the expense in pensions according to the GDP and the work he concludes with the current situation of the Spanish Labor market to explain how it affects the employment, and especially, the unemployment in the system of pensions of the Social Security.
