El autoconcepto y la motivación escolar: una revisión bibliográfica

Abstract

Este trabajo realiza una revisión bibliográfica sobre el autoconcepto y la motivación escolar, y más en concreto, el autoconcepto académico y la motivación académica. Se realiza una búsqueda de trabajos en la base de datos PsycINFO, comprendida entre los años 2010 y 2014 (hasta la actualidad), incluyendo como identificadores el autoconcepto académico y la motivación académica. Se encuentran 17 artículos que tratan esta temática mediante investigaciones cuyo objetivo es intentar responder a cuestiones que permitan avanzar en el conocimiento de la complejidad de la motivación en el ámbito escolar y, de ese modo incidir en aquellos factores o interrelaciones de ellos, que posibiliten mejorar la motivación de los alumnos por el aprendizaje y, a su vez, el rendimiento académico.

This work carried out a literature review on self-concept and school motivation, and more specifically, the academic self-concept and academic motivation. A search of works is performed in the PsycINFO database, between 2010 and 2014 (up to now), including as key words, the academic selfconcept and academic motivation. 17 articles dealing with this subject through research that aims to try to answer questions that allow advance knowledge of the complexity of motivation at school, and thus influencing those factors or interrelations that make it possible to improve the motivation of students for learning and, at the same time, the achievement academic.
