Undoubtedly, the most representative aspects of the cultural scene in Don Benito, throughout history, have been theatres. In this article, we will analyse those that existed since the last quarter of the nineteenth century until today. In addition to the analyse of each building and its artistic development, it is highlighted the commendable work of the theatre owners, in particular the Hospice, Modern Hall and Imperial ones, not only for being the designer of the buildings but also for its artistic management, as we will see in the course of this study.
