| Resumen: | El interés de este artículo consiste en analizar la noción de «efecto fantástico» para observar cómo la producción de éste influye en la traducción de textos fantásticos. A través de un cuento del autor belga Thomas Owen, Le Voyageur, centraremos el estudio de los problemas de traducción generados por el citado «efecto» en el relato fantástico del siglo XX. The aim of this article is to analyse the notion «fantastic effect» in order to study the influence of its production on fantastic texts translation. Focusing on the short story Le Voyageur by Belgian author Thomas Owen, we will explore the translation problems arising from the «fantastic effect» on twentieth century fantastic narrative. |
