Félicité dans "Un coeur simple" de Gustave Flaubert: une figura de la saintité laïcisée

Abstract

Este artículo examina la representación del héroe dentro del movimiento realista del siglo XIX. A partir del personaje principal de Un coeur simple, se analiza la tensión inherente a la figura heroica en Gustave Flaubert. A pesar de un aparente rechazo del modelo clásico de la antigüedad, marcado por la banalización de la sirvienta, el novelista realista no escapa a la tentación heroica; al proponer una vía de iniciación y una forma original de sacralización, crea un nuevo tipo de héroe, más cercano a las preocupaciones de la sociedad de la época, y al mismo tiempo imbuido de representaciones eternas (ya sean bíblicas, literarias, psicoanalíticas o religiosas). La dialéctica entre temporalidad de la sociedad y permanencia de la leyenda religiosa. Así pues, este artículo pretende demostrar la interpretación inmutable de una sinfonía heroica en torno al personaje de Félicité.

This article questions the representation of the hero by the realist movement of the XIXth century. Transgressing the main character of Un coeur simple, it aims at highlighting the inherent tension of the hernie figure in the works of Gustave Flauberl. Despite an apparent refusa] of the classic antique model which is illustraled by a trivialization of the main maidservant, the realist novelist does not escape from the hernie temptation; by offering a journey of initiation and unusual form of sacralization, he fabricates a new type of hero, bath doser to the concems of society in that era and influenced by eternal representations (whether from biblîcal, literary, psychoanalytical orreligious fields). The dialectic between the societal temporality and the permanence of the legendary is thus to be read. This article therefore seeks to demonstrate the immutable execution of a hernie symphony within the realist poetry.

Cet article interroge la représentation du héros au sein du mouvement réaliste du XIXcsiècJe. Il s'agit, au travers du personnage principal d'Un coeur simple, de mettre en lumière la tension inhérente à la figure héroïque chez Gustave Flaubert. Malgré un refus apparent du modèle classique antique qui se signale par une banalisation de la servante, le romancier réaliste n'échappe finalement pas à la tentation héroïque ; en proposant un parcours initiatique et une forme originale de sacralisation, il fabrique un nouveau type de héros, à la fois plus proche des préoccupations de la société de l'époque et traversé par des représentations éternelles (qu'elles soient issues du domaine biblique, littéraire, psychanalytique ou religieux). La dialectique entre temporalité sociétale et permanence du légendaire religieux se donne alors à lire. Cet article cherche donc à démontrer l'exécution immuable d'une symphonie héroïque autour du personnage de Félicité.
