Gentrificación: un análisis bibliométrico (1979-2023)

Abstract

El presente trabajo presenta un análisis bibliométrico sobre el término “Gentrificación”. A día de hoy es una terminología desconocida por parte de la población española, a pesar de estar reconocido por la Real Academia Española. El objetivo principal de este estudio es medir y analizar la producción científica existente sobre el término “Gentrificación”, a través de un análisis bibliométrico, de trabajos de la colección principal de Wos of Science que se medirán con ayuda de dos softwares. En primer lugar, utilizamos el software SCIMAT para extraer los datos a partir de la co-currencia de palabras para así poder crear las tablas y figuras. Y, en segundo lugar, se crean los mapas científicos con ayuda del software de Vosviewer. A raíz de nuestros primeros resultados podemos decir que se refleja un aumento y desarrollo en la producción científica en esta temática, ya que cada vez, son más los estudios realizados en este campo de investigación.

This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the term “Gentrification”. At present it is a terminology unknown by the Spanish population, despite being recognized by the Royal Spanish Academy. The main objective of this study is to measure and analyze the existing scientific production on the term “Gentrification”, through a bibliometric analysis of papers from the main collection of Wos of Science that will be measured with the help of two softwares. First, we use the SCIMAT software to extract the data from the co-occurrence of words in order to create the tables and figures. And secondly, the scientific maps are created with the help of the Vosviewer software. Based on our first results, we can say that there is an increase and development in the scientific production in this area, as more and more studies are being carried out in this field of research.
