| Abstract: | En este artículo se recogen y analizan las imágenes zoológicas y vegetales que aparecen en “El Tratado de la Oración y meditación” de San Pedro de Alcántara. Se trata de una serie de palabras y conceptos relacionados semánticamente que adquieren valor simbólico y se convierten en “lugares comunes” porque se repiten en los escritos de los místicos y espirituales españoles de los siglos de oro. The zoological and plant images that appear in “The treatise on prayer and meditaion”, by San Pedro de Alcántara, will be collected and analyzed in this article. These are a series of semantically related words and concepts that acquire symbolic value and become “literary topics” since they are repeated in the writings of the mystic and spiritual writers of the Spanish Golden century. |
