Pour un approfondissement textuel: une interprétation phychanalytique

Abstract

Este artículo estudia desde un punto de vista psicoanalítico la novela de Roland Topor “El quimérico inquilino”. El propósito es observar el inconsciente freudiano y encontrar un nivel de principios que se descubrieran para tratar de definir la estructura narrativa de la novela. Gracias al método empleado es posible explicar algunos elementos que parecen a primera vista menos significativos y entender el significado general de este texto controvertido. Aunque, de acuerdo con Topor, la sociedad intenta abolir al individuo a través de la coacción con el fin de preservar su existencia –una aparentemente interpretación obvia al nivel más superficial-, el trabajo es, además, y por encima de todo, la regresión incestuosa de su personaje principal, Trelkovsky, el cual con su suicidio, intenta negar el mundo “real” y afirma su deseo de volver al estado fetal, una garantía de perfecta simbiosis con la madre.

This paper studies from a psychoanalitical point of view, Roland Topor's novel Le locataire chimérique. The aim is to observe the freudian unconscious and to find at this level the principles that were discovered in trying to define the narrative structure of the novel. Thanks to the method employed it is possible to explain some elements which seem, at first sight, less meaningful and to understand later the general meaning of this controversial text. Although, according to Topor, society tries to abolish the individual through coercion in order to preserve its existence —an apparently obvious interpretation at the most superficial level—, the work is also, and above all, the narration of the incestuous regression of its main character Trelkovsky, who, with his suicide, attempts to negate the «real» world and to affirm his desire to return to the foetal state, a guarantee of a perfect symbiosis with the mother.
