Abstract

Sometido al frenético ritmo de vida contemporáneo el ser humano se debate entre su desaparición como tal o su redefinición. El avance de las nuevas tecnologías y la necesidad de supervivencia ante una realidad física en crisis han provocado el imparable desarrollo de lo virtual. El doble, la copia, se plantearán así como única vía de salida, convertida ya la realidad en un mero simulacro. Si el mundo y el hombre a día de hoy han demostrado no ser más que representación, el arte deberá ser el principal ámbito de reflexión sobre los mismos.

Under the hectic speed of contemporary life, the human being struggles between its disappearance and its redefinition. The advances in the technologies and the need for survival in the face of a physical reality in crisis have provoked the unstoppable development of virtual reality. The double, the copy are to be considered the only way out once reality has become a mock. If the world and today’s human being have demonstrated to be just a representation, art will become the space for reflection on them.
