| Abstract: | El retablo de la iglesia de Palat de Rey de León ofrece un interesante programa cristológico, centrado en la misión de El Salvador, tanto en su conjunto de relieves y escultura exenta como en sus pinturas. Fue realizado en el último cuarto del siglo XVI por Juan de Angés el Joven. The altarpiece of the church of Palat del Rey in the city of León, offers an interesting Christological programme focused on El Salvador’s mission, its carvings and sculpture in the round as well as its paintings. This piece of art work was carried out by Juan de Angés el Joven in the last quarter of XVI century. |
