| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | There are very few studies in sub-Saharan Africa with adolescent students that assess life satisfaction and study associated factors. One of their great determinants is the absence of objective measurement instruments. The reliability of an adaptation to the French language of the PANAS affectivity scale and that of the SWLS life satisfaction (ESVD-5) are studied. The sample consists of 320 teenagers from Cameroon (average age: 16.2 years. The results show good reliabilities in both scales (PANAS, positive affect: 0.83, negative affect: 0.91, SWLS: 0.76). It is verified that the SV correlates positively with the Positive Affectivity and negatively with the Negative Affectivity. Having suffered a traumatic experience, low assessment of childhood, a low socioeconomic level, low support from parents and friends, and poor school performance correlate negatively with the LS. | es_ES |
