La “Voz de Castilla” y su ortodoxo alineamiento con la Prensa del Movimiento

Abstract

El periódico de la Prensa del Movimiento en Burgos, La Voz de Castilla (1945-1976), último en fundarse y uno de los primeros de esta cadena en desaparecer, estuvo férreamente controlado por el régimen de Franco. A través del análisis de los contenidos de sus portadas se ha observado que la intervención estatal no cedió durante sus 30 años de vida, si bien se adaptó a las transformaciones sociopolíticas. El diario atravesó una primera etapa marcada por la totalitaria Ley de Prensa de 1938, donde imperó una estrecha vigilancia, y una segunda determinada por la Ley de Prensa e Imprenta de 1966, que provocó una tímida apertura informativa. El estudio concluye que La Voz de Castilla se adaptó plenamente a las características de sus homólogos de la Prensa del Movimiento.

The newspaper of Press Movement of Francoism in Burgos, La Voz de Castilla (1945- 1976), the last to be founded and one of the first in the chain to disappear, was tightly controlled by the Franco regime. Through analysis of the contents of it´s front pages, it has been observed that the intervention by the government didn´t receed during the newspaper´s 30 years of life; although it adapted to the socio-political transformations. The paper went through two stages. A first stage determined by the Press Law of 1938, which prevailed tight control, and a second stage determined by the Law on Press and Printing 1966, that produced a slight informative opening. The study concludes that La Voz de Castilla fully adapted to the characteristics of their counterparts in the "Press Movement".
