Abstract

La narrativa y más concretamente su vertiente biográfica puede ser entendida como un instrumento que ayude a los investigadores a analizar y estudiar la compleja figura del docente universitario y del mundo que le rodea. A través de la narrativa el docente hace un recorrido por su desarrollo profesional, lo cual le va a permitir detectar las lagunas de conocimientos que presenta, las metodologías que emplea y las que necesita mejorar, en definitiva le ayuda a mejorar su acción docente e investigadora. Este artículo trata de poner de relieve la posibilidad que este medio nos brinda para comprender a una figura que cada día va cobrando mayor relevancia.
