Leer, escribir, jugar. Libros infantiles para la escritura creativa

Abstract

Esta investigación pretende analizar una muestra de siete obras de escritura creativa dirigidas a público infantil y editadas en español. Para ello, se utiliza una metodología cualitativa de estudio de casos. En el análisis se han tenido en cuenta los paratextos, ilustraciones, objetivos, edad recomendada y contenido de las obras. Los libros analizados pretenden acercar a los menores a la práctica de la creación literaria, concebida como fruto de la fantasía y el juego libre con las palabras, pero también como producto del diálogo con otros textos. La mayoría buscan estimular la creatividad enfatizando el disfrute y el juego, pero también pretenden desarrollar la competencia literaria, mediante la producción de textos líricos y narrativos. Varias obras combinan lectura y escritura, así como lenguajes visuales y verbales. En suma, se puede afirmar que estos recursos ofrecen una alternativa metodológica para despertar el interés por la escritura e iniciar a los menores en la creación literaria.

This research intends to analyse a sample of seven books for creative writing addressed to an infant audience and published in Spanish. To do that, a qualitative methodology is used, more specifically, a cases study methodology. In the analysis, the paratexts and illustrations have been considered, as well as the objectives, targeted age and the content of the works. The books analysed intend to make children acquainted with the practice of literary creation, which is understood as the offspring of fantasy and play with words, but also as the product of the dialogue with other texts. Most of them intend to foster creativity through enjoyment and play, but they also try to develop literary competence through the production of poetic and narrative texts. Some works combine reading and writing activities, as well as visual and verbal languages. To sum up, it can be stated that these resources provide a methodological option to develop the interest in reading and to introduce children in literary creation.
