Perfil de formación y liderazgo de entrenadores en el área del deporte adaptado - implicación en la autodeterminación y bienestar de los deportistas

Abstract

El objetivo principal de esta tesis doctoral es identificar el perfil de formación y liderazgo de los entrenadores en el área del deporte y su implicación en la autodeterminación y bienestar de los deportistas con discapacidad intelectual. Como conclusión general de la disertación, es esencial hacer la formación en el área del deporte adaptado más accesible a todos para difundir el conocimiento y mejorar todo el proceso en torno al deporte adaptado. Así, no es necesario separar y segregar un deporte en particular, sino incluirlo en la globalidad del ámbito formativo del deporte. Esto permitiría difundir y aplicar el deporte adaptado de forma eficaz, minimizando los costes de la formación específica.

The main objective of this doctoral dissertation is to identify the profile of training and leadership of coaches in the area of sports and its implication in the self-determination and well-being of athletes with intellectual disabilities. As a general conclusion of the dissertation, it is essential to make training in the area of adapted sport more accessible to all in order to spread knowledge and improve the whole process around adapted sport. Thus, it is not necessary to separate and segregate a particular sport, but to include it in the globality of the training sphere of sport. This would allow adapted sport to be disseminated and applied in an effective way, minimising the costs of specific training.
