| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Fourteen years have passed since the introduction of new safety’s norms for the work place in Italy. The law and the subsequent changes thereof, have allowed the companies and the workers to adopt policies and behaviors which help of prevent injury and accidents during working hours. But is this law currently in vigor suitable? To answer to this question, a research team of the University of Turin has undertaken investigations to understand how adequate the law responds to the actual safety requirements. To this aim, a sample of 70 workers have been interviewed in a big industrial city of the North-West of Italy. The results suggest that the safety perception depends on job typology to which a person is exposed, the persons responded that they could generally turn to management in case of problems related to their work, further they stated that the problems were resolved in a short period of time when they concern safety issues. Implications for further research are also discussed. | es_ES |
