The Priest José María de Llanos was one of the most influential priests during the Franco and the transition years. He went from doing spiritual exercises to Franco, to later on step the mud from the slum area in “El Pozo de Tío Raimundo”. He became friend with anti-Franco militants. Moreover, the rosary was recited at his funeral and the International was sung. Due to his surname, he has ancestry from Extremadura, more specifically, from Guareña. |
