Formación de palabras y aprendizaje del vocabulario latino: utilidad del método estructural

Abstract

Una mirada al vocabulario latino da una impresión desalentadora cuando sabemos que tiene 10.000 verbos simples y más de 40.000 compuestos sin incluir otros tipos de palabras. La metodología tradicional para aprender el vocabulario latino es inútil y los autores de este artículo proponen un método estructural que pondrá la lexemática al servicio del vocabulario y de su aprendizaje.

A look to the Latin vocabulary gives a hopless impression when we know that it has 10.000 simple verbs and more than 40.000 compound ones without including other kinds of words. The traditional methodology to learn the Latin vocabulary is useless and the authors of this paper propose a structural method which will put lexematics on the service of the vocabulary and its leaming.
