Cópulas resultativas en inglés actual

Abstract

Se realiza un un análisis centrado en las construcciones copulativas cuyos verbos añaden un contenido léxico al predicado e imponen, por tanto, restricciones seleccionales sobre su atributo. En concreto, se estudian las estructuras copulativas que presentan un atributo que expresa el resultado del proceso verbal en el sujeto de la oración.

This analysis is centred on copulative constructions whose verbs add a lexical content to the predicate and impose therefore selectional restrictions on its attribute. Specifically, the copulative structures having an attribute that expresses the result of the verbal process on the subject of the sentence are studied.
