| Abstract: | El objetivo de la presente reseña es ofrecer u análisis crítico de un libro reciente sobre la vida y obra de Tucídides escrito por Luciano Canfora. Este análisis permite reflexionar sobre los enfoques y perspectivas de la crítica contemporánea con respecto a la historiografía antigua en general y en relación a Tucídides en particular. The aim of the present review is to provide a critical analysis of one recent book on the life and work of Thucydides written by Luciano Canfora. The analysis becomes thus a perfect occasion to reflect on approaches and perspectives of contemporary criticism about ancient historiography in general and in relation to Thucydides in particular. |
