El grave problema de la terminología en semántica

Abstract

Es notorio que un buen número de parcelas de las ciencias poco desarrolladas tienen un problema inicial en el uso de una determinada terminología. En ocasiones, adentrarse en un espacio del saber entraña en principio una dificultad sólo el hecho de conocer e interpretar los términos que usan los autores ya avezados en el tema. La lingüística no es ajena a esta problemática en alguna que otra rama, pero en la Semántica se agrava si pensamos que han sido unos estudios que han tropezado con graves dificultades para desarrollarse y cada escuela, e incluso cada autor, ha utilizado la suya incluso creando en ocasiones las palabras necesarias. El autor de este artículo ha tratado de recopilar y hacer un resumen de dicha terminología, al tiempo que incluye un ejemplo de su funcionamiento dentro del sistema de la lengua.

It is notorious that a large number of plots of underdeveloped science have an initial problem in the use of a given terminology. Sometimes, entering into a space of knowledge involves, in principle, a difficulty with the mere fact of knowing and interpreting the terms used by authors already experimented in the subject. Linguistics is not alien to this problem, which is aggravated in Semantics, if we think that it is a subject with serious difficulties to develop and that each school, and even each author, has used his own terminology, sometimes rehearsing the necessary words. The author of this article has tried to compile and summarize, while including an example of its functioning within the language system.
