| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | One of the most singular buildings of the type of architecture for leisure in the 20th century was the «Avenida Cinema» (1956-1957). Apart from its meaning in local history, the building is important both because of the "deco" aesthetics of its façade and the participation of two relevant architects of the period in Cáceres: Ángel Pérez and Fernando Perianes (surveyor). However, this article defends the idea that the author was Fernando Perianes, while Ángel Pérez simply signed the plans for administrative purposes. The article also analyses the 1999 refurbishment of the building carried out by architect Pablo Fernández Bernal. | es_ES |
