Literary systems are usually supported by some specific norms the function of which function is to allow the development of accurate communication inside previously fixed frontiers. Nevertheless, the History of Literature proves that, if there has been an evolution over the last centuries, originating different literary movements, tendencies or schools, this is mainly caused by those who decide to transgress existing norms and thus create a wholly new system. However, not all transgressions lead to a new literary system. With the help of the analysis of the new feminine crime novel, this paper tries to establish when norm transgressions involve new expressive forms and originate innovative literary systems, and when they remain as simple norm exceptions without notorious influence. |
