Algunas consideraciones sobre los poblados orientalizantes extremeños

Abstract

El presente trabajo no pretende ser un estudio exhaustivo del Período Orientalizante en Extremadura, tampoco es nuestro deseo hacer afirmaciones categóricas sobre los diferentes aspectos de los muchos problemas que sobre el tema aún persisten, simplemente intentamos desarrollar algunas reflexiones que creemos interesantes y plantear ciertas hipótesis de trabajo, basándonos para ello en las excavaciones arqueológicas y en aquellos datos e indicios dispersos por toda la geografía de nuestra región.

The present work doesn’t intend to be an exhaustive study of the Orientalizing Period in Extremadura, neither is our desire to make categorical statements about the different aspects of the many problems that still persist on the subject, we simply try to develop some reflections that we think are interesting and propose certain hypotheses of work, based on archaeological excavations and those data and scattered clues throughout the geography of our region.
