Contribución al estudio de las relaciones culturales durante la II Edad del Hierro en la Cuenca Media del Guadiana: la cerámica gris

Abstract

A finales del s. V - principios del s. IV a. C. y, como consecuencia del declive de la cultura orientalizante, surge, en la Cuenca Media del Guadiana, un nuevo espacio cultural fruto del proceso de celtización o continentalización de las tradiciones orientalizantes. Espacio cultural que los autores grecolatinos reconocerían como Baeturia, y que, García Iglesias (1971) define como "el conjunto de tierras desconocidas situadas más allá del Betis”.

At the end of the 5th - early 4th centuries B. C. and, as a consequence of the decline of the orientalizing culture, a new cultural space emerged from the process of celtization or continentalization of the orientalizing traditions in the Middle Basin of the Guadiana. Cultural space that the Greco-Latin authors would recognize as Baeturia, and that García Iglesias (1971) defines as "the set of unknown lands located beyond the Betis".
